Central Oahu Sustainable Communities Plan

Through a joint venture with another Honolulu consulting firm, PlanPacific prepared revisions to the Central Oahu Development Plan ( later called the Sustainable Communities Plan ).

Based on a 25-year horizon, the project included analyzing development trends, evaluating alternative urban growth patterns, analyzing infrastructure needs, and developing plan recommendations.

The final plan report for each area included principles and guidelines for growth management, urban land use, open space, transportation, utilities and community facilities, as well as an implementation strategy.
