Maui General Plan Update

The County of Maui contracted with PlanPacific to lead a revision of the 1990 General Plan for the County of Maui, prepare a new Maui Island Regional Plan, and develop a work program for Maui Island community plans and Lanai and Molokai regional plans. The Maui Island Regional Plan, the major effort of this project, will set forth County policy concerning growth and development, land use, and public facilities. The plan will also include implementation measures to guide land development and investment in public facilities. The Regional Plan will incorporate information from existing public facility plans and efforts underway on long-range transportation planning, affordable housing, and resort development.
